Solubility test is take to find out whether the sample of sodium chloride is pure or impure.

Explanation:

The simple experiment called solubility test is done. As sodium chloride is pure substance in nature, it dissolves completely in water without leaving any residues.

When we dissolve a pinch of given sample in water and stirred it well, if the sample is pure we may get clear and saturated solution, if it is impure it may give a solution which is filled with impurities.

Answer:

Purity depends on Solubility . Practically you can understand this from the latest ,common salt advertisement.

1. Same quantity of two samples of pure and impure salt are dropped in two beakers containing same quantity of water.

2.The pure salt solution appears to be crystal clear which indicates that it is an unsaturated solution and some more amount of salt can be dissolved in it. Hence it has high Solubility.

3.Whereas the impure salt solution appears to be Supersaturated( not completely transparent) in which no more salt can be dissolved. Hence it has less Solubility.

Hope this helps….. Thank you for giving me an opportunity to answer your question..
