How would you find the slope of the line which passes through the points (-3,-5) and (-1,-6)?

You can find it by using

Slope formula ,

i.e.

Slope = ∆y÷∆x

= -6-(-5)÷{-1-(-3)}

= (-6+5) ÷(-1+3)

= (-1)÷2
