How would you know if the factors you got are the correct ones?​

If the product of the factors come up to the quadratic equation you are factoring. In multiplying the factors, you could use the FOIL Method so it would be easier for you.

Given : factors  / Zeroes

To Find  : HOW WOULD you know if the factors you got are the correct ones?

Solution:

if P(x)  is the polynomial

Factor/zero is a  

the P(a) = 0  

Hence by substituting value  of Factor/zero in Equation we can check whether  P(x) = 0  or not

if it comes zero then Factors/zeroes are correct
