☆ Hey! ☆

To separate Sulphur ( S ) from a mixture of Sulphur and Carbon ( C ) , we can adopt many methods. But by considering your safety, i would like to mention one safe and easy method for you.

" Using a method called sublimation , we can easily separate Sulphur from that mixture. You know why? Sublimation is the process by which a solid converts directly in to gaseous state without undergoing to the intermediate state called liquid. Here, Sulphur get sublimated and can be collected easily. Because, carbon doesn't show that sublimating property so far. "

✧ Or ✧

" You can use carbon disulphide ( CS2 ) [ or can use Carbon tetrachloride (CCl4) ] and sulphur get dissolved in it. Later we can filter Sulphur from that solution "

Kimmus: Hey! actually, there are many methods in separating Sulphur from that mixture. But the one i have provided is most safe to conduct inside a laboratory. I mean, using sublimation. Other methods like evaporation, solvent filtration etc.. can also be used.
Kimmus: If you still have any doubts regarding this question , feel free to ask it to me. Thank you :)
