Explanation:

It is quite simple to prove that the glass is not empty and it has air in it. Now slightly turn the glass around and you will notice bubbles coming out of it.

An empty glass is not completely empty, it has air in it. We know that we cannot see air as it is transparent and weightless. It neither has fixed volume nor shape.

Question:

How would you prove that a so- called empty glass is not empty what does it contain

Answer:

By putting glass upside down in water

Explanation:

It is quite simple to prove that the glass is not empty and it has air in it.

  •    Take a glass
  •    Place it upside down on a water containing vessel
  •    Now try to push the glass down into water
  •    You will notice that the water can not enter the glass which means something has occupied the space
  •    Now slightly turn the glass around and you will notice bubbles coming out of it.
  •    This proves that glass was not empty in the first place ...
