from my opinion I would first start shouting and then take flower vass or knife or any other items present near me and I will say don't come closer ... and I would try to run outside of the house so that I could get some help ....

depends on what room
if it is a public place a and e l e v a t o r i might simply say hi if we make eye contact if it is a social gathering I will often introduce myself informing if I see someone alone.
now if you are talking about something being in private place they shouldn't be such as a private office your home w a n d e r i n g into your yard exactra then my response is not friendly.
