How would you separate dyes in blue black ink using chromatography

*take a thin strip of filter paper
*draw a line on it using a pencil,approx 3 cm above lower edge
*put a small drop of ink at the centre of the  line.let it dry.
*lower the filter paper into a jar so that the drop of ink is above the water level and leave it undisturbed.
*now seeeeee..........

mark a black pot on a white paper using black ink pen. take some water in a glass tumbler dip the paper untill 3/4th of the dot is in the water . hold that like that for a few minutes.
