Take a green leaf .and then bleach the leaf by first boling in water and then boiling it in alcohal and then wash the bleached leaf in cold water and then add a few drops of iodine to the leaf.the leaf turns blue-black.when iodine comes in contact with starch,it produces blue-black colour . So ,the activity shows that a green leaf has starch
