We can prevent the butter from melting by controlling certain factors:
1) temperature
2) humidity
Temperature has the most obvious and adverse effect on melting of the butter. We can control temperature by keeping it in a cold storage or a refrigerator.
Humidity may not have a huge effect but it sure does have a part. We can control this by making sure that the surroundings are dry and not humid.
