Answer:

Usually, in politics in all the world, whoever has direct access to a president and can speak to him/her is because that person already has a lot of clout and influence. Is not that they take random people to the presidential palaces to advice the leaders. Whatever that powerful person will suggest to the president is already in the mutual interest of both. Recommendations are implemented first and foremost if they politically and economically benefit the president, his political party and the interest of the advisers. Whether that policy benefits the public in general, is not really substantive for them. They want to take advantage of their time in power before the next election could take that away. Once they decide to implement whatever they want to do, then they sell it to the general public as something beneficial for all the nation. If something they do is good for the nation is because it’s good for them in the first place.

Answer:

  • Anyone who has direct access to a president and is able to interact with him or her usually does so because they already have a lot of power and influence.
  • Not that they bring haphazard individuals to the presidential palaces to give the president’s counsel.
  • Whatever advice that influential person gives the president is already in their best interests.
  • Recommendations are prioritised for implementation if they are politically and economically advantageous to the president, his political party, and the advisers.
  • They don't really care whether the policy is good for the population at large.
  • They want to make the most of their time in office before the subsequent election could end it.
  • When they have made up their minds to accomplish anything, they pitch it to the public as something that will benefit the entire country.
  • If they do something that benefits the country, it is only because it benefits them personally as well.
  • So in a way, if you want to talk to the president, you need to talk to other political figures and use their platforms to make your point.
  • Our world is one of constant distraction. Get your message through quickly because people remember very little.
  • You need a catchy sound bite to grab the interest of prospective voters. Keep your statement succinct and related to the main idea. Then, to take your audience on a memorable journey, weave that topic across four to five important points.
