•••••We can test a leaf with starch With the help of iodine.••••
~~~~STEPS TO TEST~~~~~
∆First wash the leaf and boil it so that it looses the presence of chlorophyll in it.
∆Then put the leaf on a tile and add some iodine solution to it.
∆Now some parts of the leaf will turn to blue - black colour which depicts that it has starch.
