How would you test the presence of starch in leaves

i will use iodine solution to test the presence of starch in leaves

We can test the presence of starch in leaves by boiling the leaf for few minutes and after few minutes putting some drops of iodine on the leaf. If the colour changes into blue/black then the starch is present in the leaf.
