1. take a leaf and boil it in alcohol so that chlorophyll can be removed. (pic one)

2. the leaf gets Decolourished. (pic two)

3. now add some iodine solution on the leaf with the help of a dropper.

4. You will observe that the leaf starts turning blue-black this signifies that starch is present in leaf.

if ur in grade 10 I suggest u use lakhmir singh it has everything u need to learn
