the presence of starch in leaves can be tested in an experiment known as iodine test here we take the leaf of a well potted plant which is exposed to sunlight and keep it in a petra dish and then we had iodine or beta dine to the leaf then you observe the leaf changing its colour from Green to bluish black it indicates the presence of starch in leaves
