Aim - To test the p[resence of Starch in a leaf.

Step 1. Take some Alcohol in a Test tube and boil it with a Green Leave, till it turns white.

Step 2. Wash that leaf, with water.

Step 3. Put 2 drops of Iodine into the leaf.

Observation - After putting iodine on the leaf, the liquid appears to be Blue-Black, this shows that the leaf has starch content in it.
