First keep a potted plant in the dark for 2 to 3 days then pluck its leaf and take it to sunlight for 1 hour .Boil the leaf in the alcohol to remove its chlorophyll then add iodine solution to it the part which contain starch will become blackish but the part where chlorophyll is absence will not show this.
