3) Dip the leaf in boiling water for few minutes.

5) Now, carefully place the beaker in water bath and let the alcohol begin to boil.

6) Place the leaf in dilute iodine for few minutes.

7) Take the leaf out, and rinse off the iodine.

8) We can observe that the presence of starch in the uncovered area of leaf.
