In order to break clutter in advertising we need to stand out, be unique and do something different.
People are bombard with messages every day from their Television, internet, newspapers etc.
Most people are intelligent enough to actually ignore these messages. In such a case we need to grab their attention and work really hard to stand out.
That is why many companies rely on viral marketing, as it can help companies get the message across. If it's something different and unique, people will stop and listen/see/watch it and understand your brand
