Generally , when I dont have nothing to spend time on to while walking etc.,

• I buy something to eat / or buy book from nearest shop.
• Its also the best to note all your expenses that happened in that day (if you have the habit of noting down your expenses).
• If you are planning for a meeting in the next few days, you can assume yourself in that meeting and talk from your side and also start thinking "what the persons in the meeting will ask" and prepare for an answer. This will help you to excel in meetings.
• If you are married and your kids habits are worrying you, you can prepare your mind on how to deal with kids without hurting them.
