We can decide that a given sample of water is polluted or non polluted,in the following way -

• Observation : The pure sample of water is completely colourless and if we observe that the given sample of water is colourless,then there are chances that the given sample of water is pure.

• Smell : The pure sample of water is completely odourless and if we don't get any odour from the given sample of water, then there are chances that the given sample of water is pure.

• Taste : The pure sample of water is completely tasteless and if we don't get any taste from the given sample of water, then there are chances that the given sample of water is pure.
