You can comprehend it, read it and understand it the way you want and then write what you understood. Then write on the paper what you learned, try to remember the concepts and understand them in our own way so that you can understand it better try to link it with things which make more sense to you.
Write in your own words so that you can explain the concept better, after you are understanding, reading and writing in your own words if there are still any doubts then clear your doubts by asking questions so that the student can have a proper understanding of a subject.
