Today is the Mother’s Day. I gifted my mother a card I had made myself. She felt so happy on seeing the card. She hugged me so tightly. Often I wonder at my mother’s greatness and self-effacing nature.

All her time and energies are used in looking after the needs of the family. Form early morning till late night she is busy looking after us. whenever I see my mother working I am reminded of Rudyard Kipling’s famous saying on mothers: ‘God could not be everywhere so He made mothers.’

I promise everyone I will take care of my mother. I will try to make her happy everyday in small or big ways.
