I would stop him/her by telling that it might be taken by the teacher or you would have been charged a fine for bringing the camera to the school

You suggest them it is not good habit to carrying camera to school because some person thinking is not good about you. He thinks you are not good boy and many other types of thinking coming in  mind.....
