Villi is helping in absorption of product of digestion in small intestine. It is highly vascular and connected with number of capillaries and this the product of digestion moved to blood and then to fill body.

Villi are small finger like projections seen in the walls of the intestine. These increase surface area of absorption to a great extent within the small intestine .
