To find a salt by it's formula is very easy. You only need to follow these simple steps and you're done!
✴ First and foremost, try to figure out the positive and negative ions that will be formed on dissolving electrolyte in water.
✴ We will then obtain the following results :-
➡️If the electrolyte dissociates into it's consecutive H+ ions, the compound is an acid.
➡️ If the electrolyte dissociates into it's consecutive OH- ions, the compound is a base.
➡️ If neither of the above is the case, the compound is a salt.
But, in the dissociation of these ions, the factor affecting their dissociation is that whether the electrolyte is strong or weak.
