given that,

and,

So,

→ The number of servings his recipe will yield = (Total recipe yields) ÷ (Each serving) = 8(1/2) ÷ (1/4) = 8 and 1 over 2 ÷ 1 over 4 (Option D).

Hence,

The number of servings his recipe will yield = 8(1/2) ÷ (1/4) = (17/2) ÷ (1/4) = (17/2) * 4 = 34 .
