Answer:

Explanation:

Animals are the creation of nature just like we are. We share the world with these creatures and they too deserve to live uninterrupted and to the fullest. They do not cross their territory and attack only when provoked. As they are also an important part of the food chain of nature and ecosystem, we must incline our self a little for their conservation and protection. Animals are innocent. They only crave for a natural environment free of interference and fear.

But since we humans are the most superior being due to our intelligence, we seem to dominate every other being on earth. Living beings depend on one another for one or the other reason. But we are somewhat exploiting them.

First of all animal labor must be abolished or controlled with laws. The amount of labor must be limited. Otherwise there are unthinking bunch of people who use animals as beasts of burden like anything. Also the food and fodder must be given properly.

Animals are reared from the beginning of civilization for food, animal products such as wool, milk, etc. But since they are living things too they must be given a thought before torturing them up to certain limits. We can see at the meat shops that farm chicken are kept in cages under very congested space. Many die due to lack of breathing or asphyxia. They cannot cry to us and tell us that they are in pain. It is we, the intelligent one, who should understand.

For amusement purposes they are treated like hell. In horse races, the poor horses have to run faster due to fear of the whiplashes. Poaching is another such evil that humans do to the four legged population. Destruction of their habitat makes them homeless at their own place and this in turn brings them to the proximity of human dwellings. This trespassing of territories done by humans on wildlife and wildlife on humans brings problems for both. Long ago in Mumbai tigers were killing people from inside their houses. And obviously the animals are ruthlessly killed if they are seen. It is a different thing they are shot an injection that will doze them off.

Zoo culture is another inhuman practice. The animals inside the cages are not happy for sure. And what we did by caging them is very wrong. They seek natural environment. Mere display of live animals inside cages is so cruel. There are many times a tiger is heard of tearing off a human being into parts when the person fell inside the caged area by mistake. Thus is obvious because the fierce animals are naturally angry inside the cage.

We humans don’t realize that we don’t need any excuse for our cruelty which we impose on nature. During some festivals so many animals are simply killed to show that we are appeasing god. Then the black marketers are selling animal parts at mind boggling prices.

So considering all these factors we shouldaim towards their conservation. Laws must be created to protect them too. And for this motive organization such as PETA (people for the ethical treatment of human beings) and PFA (people for animals) are working their part. But this is not enough. Something widespread is required to protect them in all places. More concrete steps is to be taken.

Answer:

Man and animals have coexisted together and along side each other from time immemorial. This relationship between these two different types of beings can be seen from different perspectives both positively or negatively, though often characterized by suspicions. This paper is an attempt to examine the theoretical arguments that informs pets and animal care in our modern societies. In most cases, the care and protections of animals is based on both reason and moral arguments that many scholars have formulated. These arguments will be examined in detail in relation to pets keeping and pets.

One main argument for the protection and care of animal is strongly based around the concept of animal rights. This is based on the philosophical thinking which informs much of animal rights movements in modern societies and its main proponent is a man by the name of Tom Regan. Regan argued that animals too do have that what he calls inherent values which must be respected by mankind, although they may not possess self identity and moral awareness of themselves .This concept argues that animals should not be treated as man’s property that can be used as for the purpose of research, as objects of entertainments, for food or clothing. Rather, Animals must be considered as members of moral community and be treated as non human persons. Most animal rights advocates believe that animals at least have the right to life and the right to freedom from bodily interference.
