Answer:

The extinction of species is common in the history of evolution. Most of the creatures that have existed are extinct. Several of these are due to the great extinction caused by the sudden changes in the Earth's ecological environment. There are also many that these organisms can't adapt to long-term slow environmental changes and withered. In other words, they can't adapt to the environment and be weeded out.

But we have to figure out that the extinction of these species in the present, the speed of its occurrence, the wide coverage, has long surpassed the pattern of natural extinction of species, and can almost be compared with the previous 5 great extinctions!

If we look at the reasons behind this "extinction wave", we can't succeed in evading responsibility - these extinctions are more or less triggered by human activities directly or indirectly, so some scholars believe that this geological era can now Known as "Anthropocene",

Explanation:

Well according to a study humans are responsible for a extinction of 322 species of animals and birds and even a few species of plants. Extinction of species is a natural process due to natural selection but humans have increased the rate of extinction to a 1000 times more.

There are many reasons for the extinction of species

1.The major reason is over hunting. Humans hunt animals for food, skin, bones etc and even for sport. This has led to the extinction of many species and many other species have been endangered.

2.Loss of habitat- Deforestation, pollution and many other factors has led to extinction.

Introduction of alien species- many species became extinct because humans introduced species from different habitat to other places.

For eg:- goats were introduced in Galapagos islands which led to extinction of some species of turtles.

The famous bird Dodo became extinct in the same way.
