Human beings are the producers and consumers because they only produce food in the earth.ex:agriculture,cultivation etc.And they also depend on plants and animals to eat.so humans are called the producers and consumers.

  • The man is a producer as well as consumer and is responsible for the use and abuse of the resources in earth as a man with his culture and technology advancement has interacted with the various elements of nature and created commodities of trade and commerce and has thereby consumed about more than 60% of the earth valuable resources.
  • Man as a producer has created geopolitical boundaries and various biodiverse realms on earth and given shape to the earth's raw materials and thereby has harnessed the solar, wind and the tidal energy. He has destroyed forest and degraded lands for his lust of power and hunger of resources has created many barriers and has removed many hindrances with the process of time.
  • He has used fertile lands to generate the crops for food and consumed the richness of the lands in the form of fruit, but to a greater extent and has thereby gradually destroyed carrying capacity of lands by his own hand by polluting rivers, air, and soil with nuclear wars and large dumping grounds.
