Question :-
Human eye has a convex lens but how can we see the image correctly but not inverted ?
Answer :-
First of all formation of image in the eye will help you to understand :-
The light falls on the retina via the cornea and Pupil and the lens focuses the light on the retina. Image formed on the retina is converted into electrical signal by sensory cells (rods and cones) in the retina. These electrical signals are transmitted to the Brain through the optic nerve. The brain interpret the Signals and render the image as erect.
The cone and rod absorb the light falling on the retina and converte it into electrical impulse that can be read by the brain. Rods are not colour sensitive but cones are and that enables us to see the colour.
