heart is a very serious and sensitive organ . the heart is located in the chest cavity, with its lower end slightly tilted towards the left. the size of heart is equal to your fist . the heart pumps blood. to all parts of the body. ( continuously) . the heart has four chambers : -

1. Right Auricle And Left Auricle

2. Right Ventricle And Left Ventricle

the upper two chambers are called Auricles .

the lower chambers are called Ventricles.

the valve between the Right Auricle And Right Ventricle is called Tricuspid valve. And the valve between the Left Auricle And Left Ventricle is called bicuspid valve. 1 . Heart is a cardiac muscles.

4. It has a cavity - Thoracic / Chest cavity Centre Tilted

5. It pumps - blood pressure

6. Normal pressure- 80/ 120 mms of Hg( Mercury) Hypertention / High pressure.

7. Sphygmomanometer is used to measure blood pressure.

HUMAN HEART :

》Human Heart is mesodermal in origin.

》It is located in the thoracic cavity between the lungs.

》It is protected by pericardium which is a double walled membrane enclosing pericardial fluid.

》Our heart consists of four chambers - two upper chambers called atria and two lower chambers called ventricles.

》A thick walled septum called the inter-ventricular septum separates the left and right ventricles.

》A thin septum called inter-atrial septum separates right and left atria.

》Atrioventricular septum separates the atria and the ventricle of the same side.

》Bicuspid Valve regulates the opening between the left atrium and left ventricle.

》Tricuspid Valve regulates the opening between the right atrium and right ventricle.

FUNCTION :

● The function of Heart is to pump oxygenated blood to all the parts of our body and also to pump the deoxygenated blood from lungs to heart.
