Human interventions which are causing land degradation are

(1) deforestation,

(2) overgrazing by livestock,

(3) mismanagement of agricultural land,

(4) overexploitation of the vegetative cover for domestic use

(5) (bio)industrial activities.

because we are the ones who leave the land barren and do all kinds of industrialisation in the place where greenery must be cultivated . Also we are overgrazing the cattle over there, deforestation is on the way and exploitation of land is at the extremest nowadays.
