The Protection of Human Rights Act, 1993 was enforced on 28th January 1993. After having a deliberate discussion on the subject of Human Rights Commission Bill, 1993 was introduced in the Lok Sabha on 14.05. 93 and was referred to the standing committee of Parliament on Home Affairs .
