Explanation:

The human skeleton is the internal framework of the human body. It is composed of around 270 bones at birth – this total decreases to around 206 bones by adulthood after some bones get fused together. The bone mass in the skeleton reaches maximum density around age 21.

Hope this helps you

Answer:

The skeleton is the framework formed by the bones of our body. The skeleton of a normal adult human is made up of 206 bones.

A new born child has approx. 300 bones.

The skeleton has 4 main parts-

the skull,

the spine or backbone,

the rib cage and

the limbs.

The skull is the bony structure present in the head. The upper part of the skull is made up of eight bones in the head region and that are completely fused and are immovable. The face and the jaws together contain 14 bones.

The upper jaw is immovable while the lower jaw is movable. The teeth are fixed to the jawbone.
