Humanity does exist. According to the story 'A letter to God's , Lencho, a farmer who wrote a letter to God requesting for 100 pesos so that he could grow crops and his family won't suffer starvation. As his field was devastated by a hailstorm. The letter was sent into the postbox and when a postman read the letter, he laughed at it as it seemed very stupid letter addressing to God. The postman told about the incident to the postmaster and both did laughed at it but then the postmaster became serious and was shaken by the faith of Lencho that he had in God so they managed to collect some pesos which was barely 70. Still, the humanity exist as the postmaster didn't wanted to share the writer's faith in God. That's why he sent him the money. They could even deny to help they farmer but they didn't.
