Humanity is beyond caste creed and race elucidate the thought in the light of the story Memories of Childhood
It is quite true humanity is beyond caste, color, creed, race, and religion. All people belonging to humanity are equal. There should not be any discrimination of any type on the basis of caste, color, creed, race, and religion.
However, in the chapter Memories of Childhood, we saw this discrimination happening to Zitkala Sa and Bama. Both of them had to undergo mental anguish and agony on account of this discrimination. This discrimination leads to various social problems such as mutual alienation among the people of society, hatred among different social groups, etc.
As a result of this discrimination Bama changed her religion also. She must have taken this extreme step to be safe from discrimination. If she would not have faced the discrimination, she might have not taken such an extreme step.
In conclusion it can be said, all people belonging to humanity are equal.
