On reading the letter to God, we can say that humanity still exists because when the postmaster read the letter, he was shakened by the faith of the man in God.
Even though he did not know whom he was helping, he did try to help the person by giving him a part of his own salary and also by convincing his colleagues to do the same.
Last but not the least, he also did not mention his name in the letter which proves that he did this all only for the sake of helping the man and not with the mindset of getting some reward or even thanks.
