Humility wins over cruelty

History has time and again reminded us the wrathful tales of cruelty, Dictators who have destroyed innocent lives. Man remembers these cruel personnel with sadness and grief. At the same time history has brought forth tales of apostles of peace and love.

Hitler, Mussolini, Nadir Shah, Caligula and Chengiz Khan are some reminders we would love to forget.

Gautam Buddha, Swami Vivekananda, Mother Teresa, Siddhi Sai are the angel- like humans we will never forget to remember.

The truth lies in the fact that the former were all cruel tyrants while the latter were epitomes of humility.

Lord Alfred Nobel is remembered not as the inventor of dynamite but the establisher of the Nobel prize. The Nobel Prize is to reward the humble who have toiled for the uplift of Mankind. Dynamite on the other hand stands for destruction.

Similarly Emperor Asoka is remembered as great after he took to Ahimsa or non-violence a path of humility not the cruel king who fought Kalinga.

It can thus be concluded that Humility wins over cruelty.
