Humility comes from humbleness, a situation where a person does not deliberate him over and above other human beings, rather he considers himself as nothing in position or power to other while cruelty is a state that leads to pain or distress to others.

Now if one sees the world history, all wars were scrapped when cruelty prevailed over humility, yet those were not very longer periods. On the other side when peace has win out it is because of humility and everyone wants peace rather than war. Hence it is humility who always wins the race and which is more reliable
