15! has 3 zeroes at the end of its value i.e. unit, tens,hundreds.

We are concerned with hundreds and both numbers has its hundreds digit as 0 hence

0-0=0.

So our answer is 0 as hundreds digit in 40!-15!

For example,

Lets know how to find number of zeroes at the end of 15! And similar thing is with 40!

15!=15*14*13*12*11*10*9*8*7*6*5*4*3*2*1

Now 10= 2*5 (in any factorial no.of 2 is always greater than no.of 5) so we need to calculate how many 5 are there in a given factorial and thats our number of zeroes.
