Yes, I agree.

But not so bad as the Germans.

u see it cemented the collapse of the Austro-Hungarian empire. Hungary was dismembered, losing two-thirds of its pre-war territory and almost the same proportion of its population.

Further, the allies restricted the army to 35,000 men, lightly armed and employed only to maintain internal order and to secure the frontiers. The number of reparations to be imposed was to be determined later.

So, I'd say, yes it was treated harshly, but not as bad as Germany.
