magnesium is a very important mineral required for plant growth . It is a constituent of the ring structure of the chlorophyll and it also helps to maintain the ribosomal structure .

the deficiency of Mg firstly is visible in the senescent leaves( growing/ new leaves) .Then in the older leaves .

The deficiency of Mg causes chlorosis ( deficiency of chlorophyll ) that leads to the yellowing of the leaves .
