Hungry boys has been crying for 10 minutes why has been is used in this sentence?

Swarup1998: Present Perfect Continuous Tense so 'has been' is used here.
Swarup1998: It should be 'have been'.

Explanation: present continuous tense so, has been or have been is a helping verb

When we are talking about the present: If the subject of a sentence is I – You – We – They or a plural noun (cars, birds, children) we use 'have been'. If the subject of the sentence is He – She – It or a singular noun (car, bird, child, single person) we use 'has been'.
