Hungry for an answer, I opened the letter. My fingers were shaking.
“What's it say?!” My mom asked excitedly, peering over my shoulder.
I waved her away impatiently. As I opened the letter, my world changed. I struggled to fight back my tears.
This was it: I had the answer I was looking for. Now, I had no idea what I would do.
