Many animals endure prolonged, painful deaths when they are injured but not killed by hunters. ... Hunting disrupts migration and hibernation patterns and destroys families. For animals such as wolves, who mate for life and live in close-knit family units, hunting can devastate entire communities.
The fact that hunting is a violent form is justified below:
Hunting for recreation is infact a violent and cruel form and must be avoided. Animals shouldn't be poached for fulfilling the selfish needs of human beings. Animals too have a family and hunting them can devastate their entire community. Following are some of the reasons why hunting should be stopped:
• Hunting may create an imbalance in our ecosystem. For example, the extinction of Dodo bird is due to excessive hunting of the birds by the poachers.
• Hunting animals just for thrill and fun is not at all acceptable as it is a kind of disrespect to our mother Earth. Animals suffer from severe pain when they get injured during poaching.
• Hunting may lead to reduction in the number of species due to which they may become endangered.
• It is very sad to know that mostly people hunt only for recreation and for fun which is very cruel. Our ecosystem will be imbalanced and the population of species will get reduced to a great extent if such huntings are not stopped.
