i)Diffusion:-
Answer⇒The mixing of one gas with another gas is called diffusion.It can be only happen in liquid and gases not in solids.It is also defined as the movement of higher concentration to lower concentration.

Eg:-A teabag placed in a cup of hot water will diffuse into the water.

ii)TYPES OF DIFFUSION:-

1-Gas in Gas
⇒When a gas diffuses into another gas
Eg:-Perfume into the air

2-Liquid in liquid
⇒When a liquid diffuses into another liquid
Eg:-Diffusion of liquid cocoa into water

3-Solid into gas
⇒When a solid diffuses into liquid
Eg:-Diffusion of sugar into water
