Hw can glass be a liquid if is so hard?

Glass can become liquid when it's heated to 1400 °C-1600 °C. Once it cools, it becomes solid again. In fact, glass is made when sand is heated to about 1700°C, where it starts as a liquid, then eventually hardens into a solid.
