[If a potentiometer measure very small potential differences it is said to be sensitive.]
Sensitivity of a potentiometer can be increased by :-)
1) Increasing the length of the wire.
2) Decreasing the current in the wire by using rheostat ( a device used to control electric current by varying resistance).

So , now your answer is clear i.e The sensitivity of a potentiometer

decreases with the increase in the electric current flowing through its

wire. ( Because potential gradient decreases).
