Hello Mate,

1) Spread the sample over paper & move bar magnet over it. Iron is stuck to bar magnet while sulphur, phosphorus are left behind....

2) Remaining mixture is dissolved in carbon disulphide. Sulphur being soluble in CS2 is filtered & phosphorus is left in residue....
