hy friends, here's the question...

pls help me... The school of a boy from his home is 1 Km to the east. when he reached back home, he says that he had travelled 2 Km distance but his displacement is zero. justify ur answer.

pls tell if u know the answer...

Displacement is the shortest length between two points. For Example:- in this point a is his home and point b is also his home because it is the last point.

Then Distance
His home to school = 1 km
His school to home = 1 km
Total distance = 1 km + 1 km
= 2 km
